How much does UIMA membership cost?
A gift of any size qualifies you as a member; beginning at the “Friend” level with a gift of up to $100 through the “Wilke Society” level with a gift of $10,000 or more. See here for the complete list of UIMA membership levels and details.
How long will I enjoy my benefits?
Your benefits will start as soon as you receive your membership card and continue for the following 12 months. Benefit levels are determined by cumulative giving during the course of a fiscal year, thus your membership level and benefits may advance prior to the expiration of your card.
How do I renew my membership?
You will receive a reminder 11 months after you make your first gift. To continue receiving uninterrupted membership benefits, you must donate prior to the expiration date on your card.
When will I be issued a new card?
If you have renewed your membership, you will receive a new card when your old card expires. You will also be sent a new card when you reach membership levels with added benefits, such as free admission to 625 museums at the Curator’s Circle.
I lost my card, what do I do?
If you lose your membership card, please contact us via email at email@example.com
I forgot my card at home, can I still receive my benefits?
You must show a valid membership card for several important benefits, such as free entry to the Figge Art Museum, free admission and discounts at museums participating in reciprocal programs, and free admission to UIMA First Friday events.
What is NARM?
The North American Reciprocal Museum Association is an affiliation of arts and cultural institutions located throughout North America. UIMA Members qualifying at the NARM level (Curator’s Circle and above) are eligible for reciprocal benefits such as free admission and shop discounts at over 650 institutions. (Individual museums may define family/household benefits differently from the UIMA and restrict some reciprocal privileges. We recommend that you view the NARM website or contact participating museums before you visit.)
